One of our newest GPs Dr Edi Loaiza Maya is also an awesome barber, having recently opened up a barbershop on Racecourse Crescent! He grew up in his mum’s hairdressing salon in Columbia, selling meatballs on street corners to help make ends meet for his family before learning hairdressing. His is a truly inspiring story of persistence and hard work, and we’re so grateful that he’s joined us at Newstead Medical!
