In line with the update in policy from the Tasmanian Health Service, masks are no longer mandatory when visiting Newstead Medical, the Kings Meadows Medical Centre, the Urgent Care Centre or NewWorkHealth. We recommend using facemasks to reduce the transmission of respiratory viruses and will continue to screen all patients presenting to the practice for cold and flu symptoms.
