An absolute stalwart of the General Practitioners in the North of the state, she has been looking after the health of the Launceston community for almost 40 years.

Jane’s also worked in various other roles over the years while working at Newstead Medical, including with the Launceston Clinical School, University of Tasmania and Department of Health, Tasmania, though her work in Aged Care has been particularly notable, and she retains a board position with Masonic Care Tasmania.

Jane has regularly been a voice for the disadvantaged, and championed the rights of refugees. She promotes kindness and empathy, and has always exercised humility.

We wish her and Tony a well-deserved retirement, and know they can’t wait to spend more time with the grandchildren at the shack!
